Creating Your First Prayer Wall

Your Prayer Wall is Ready

Great news! When you create your PrayerConnect account, your prayer wall is automatically set up and ready to use.

Accessing Your Prayer Wall

Your prayer wall is available at two locations:

1. Dashboard View: Click "Prayer Wall" in your sidebar when logged in
2. Public URL: Share yourchurch.prayerconnect.app/pray/yourchurch with your congregation

Sharing Your Prayer Wall

Get Your Public Link

1. Go to Settings → Embed
2. Copy your public prayer wall URL
3. Share via email, social media, or your church website

Embed on Your Website

Want the prayer wall on your church website? We provide an embed code:

1. Go to Settings → Embed
2. Copy the embed code
3. Paste it into your website's HTML

Configuring Your Prayer Wall

Enable/Disable Features

Navigate to Settings → Prayer Wall to configure:

• Anonymous Submissions: Allow people to submit prayers without an account
• Moderation: Require approval before prayers are visible
• Categories: Organize prayers by type (Health, Family, Gratitude, etc.)

Set Up Categories

Categories help organize prayer requests:

1. Go to Settings → Categories
2. Click Add Category
3. Enter a name, description, and choose a color
4. Save your changes

Testing Your Prayer Wall

Before sharing with your congregation:

1. Submit a test prayer request
2. View it from the public URL (logged out)
3. Approve it in the moderation queue
4. Verify it appears on the public wall
