Recommended Artwork Sizes
| Asset | Recommended | Minimum | Format |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cover photo / banner | 2400 × 1000px (2.4:1) | 1920 × 800px | JPG or PNG, under ~500KB |
| Full logo (wide) | 800 × 200px | 400 × 100px | PNG with transparency |
| Square icon | 512 × 512px | 256 × 256px | PNG with transparency |
Framing Your Cover Photo
The cover is a full-width band that is cropped differently on every screen: roughly a 4:1 letterbox on desktop, and a near-square slice from the centre on mobile.
- Keep the important subject inside the centre 40% horizontally and vertically.
- Avoid text or logos baked into the photo — your logo and church name are overlaid with a dark gradient.
- Slightly darker, lower-contrast photos read best under the 30–50% overlay.
What Works Best for Logos
- Horizontal/landscape orientation
- Clear, high-resolution image
- Simple design that's recognizable at small sizes
- Transparent background so it sits on light and dark surfaces
Light and Dark Mode
Upload two versions for the best experience:
Main Logo
- For light backgrounds
- Usually your standard colored logo
Dark Mode Logo
- For dark backgrounds
- Often white or light-colored version
- Same logo, different colors
Troubleshooting

- Check your color profile (RGB is best for web)
- Ensure PNG transparency is correct
- Test in both light and dark mode
Icon vs. Logo
Also upload an icon (square version):
